Review: Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, Chaconne - Edison Lu '22

by Edison Lu '22Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, Chaconne is a very beautiful song. Let’s call it Partita for now. It was written by Johann Sebastian Bach between 1717-1720. The word “Partita” means variation and was widely used during the 18th century’s music. There is a link at the bottom of the page.I like this song, and I recommend it a lot. It’s very emotional, and it helps you calm down from a very stressful day, I believe. The beginning makes me feel refreshed with energy because it sounds very exciting, and it gets calmer and then it gets exciting again. To me, I like this piece played by Itzhak Perlman. He is a wonderful violinist.Anyhow, that was my perspective of this song. If you have a different perspective, you can email it to me!The link to it is:Partita in D minor, bwv 1004 chaconne
